Let me begin this week with an apology. I’m so sorry that I didn’t make a post last week—season is in full swing here in Highlands County and I have been working on as many patients as I can to accommodate all the people who are hurting from all those hours on the road. It’s a great “problem” to have—and I am so thankful for it! I’m so glad that I get to be the first call for many people traveling down here. I have had a few patients even call me FROM THE CAR! Incredible.

I turned 41 earlier this week. I have been doing massage therapy since 2007–I can’t believe it. I just started my 13th year in this profession, and I feel like there is still SO MUCH that I want to learn and do. This is something I am incredibly grateful for, too.

This week will be a shorter week in my office. I will be closed Thursday and Friday to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. I have absolutely no intention of doing any Black Friday shopping. I did that one time and definitely learned my lesson. I feel for all of you working in retail! If you are out there on Friday getting all those great deals—stay safe!
